Service and General Support Administrator – Chadds Ford, PA

Seeking a qualified and motivated candidate to provide administrative support to for the Service department. The duties of this position include:

Responsibilities:

    • Performing all service details relating to service software and cost accounting
      system functions
    • Initiate and process service jobs – work order, service contracts, service adds
    • Understand, verification, and process work order service tickets and invoices on service contracts, and T&M
    • Maintain all project documentation and supporting backup
    • Support of handling incoming and scheduled service calls
    • Maintain and update warranty expiration dates
    • Continuing to update and development of the SOP and documentation of support for all service department administrative duties
    • Handle phone communication with clients and technicans, including answering/directing calls, interface with after-hours call center, etc. On-Call Rotation Schedule
    • Assist with external customer communication to support project manager(s), including performance/payment bonds, customer correspondence, billing questions, resolution of questions/disputes, safety, billing, A/R, documentation transmittals, RFI’s, warranty letters, lien wavers, submittal tracking, etc.
    • Provide support to in management of subcontract activities – assemble subcontracts, collect/manage subcontractor certified payroll reports, and monthly billing
    • Assist and support other admins with transition projects from sales department to operations, including all job initialization functions related to setup in our accounting system, contract processing, subcontract processing, bonding, tax exempt certificates, drug testing, new client credit checks, etc.
    • Provide additional support to other administrative personnel as needed

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma, plus post H.S. education/training in office administration and/or accounting

Project Coordinator – Chadds Ford, PA

Radius Systems is seeking to hire a motivated Project Coordinator to join our rapidly growing business.

Reporting to the VP of Operations, this position performs all tasks related to supporting the Product Managers.

Responsibilities:

  • Project Management support – External customer communication to support project manager(s), including submittal management, contract/subcontract execution, customer correspondence, project site coordination, resolution of questions/disputes, safety program, documentation transmittals, RFI’s, warranty letters, subcontractor billing, change orders, certified payroll or other required reports, lien wavers, etc.
  • Assist as required in performing operational support functions – job setup, vendor setup, customer setup, billing, material ordering, material expediting, material repairs.
  • Assist in performing monthly reports – Develop, maintain, and distribute semi-monthly and monthly reports including job cost reports, billing reports, project tracking, forecasts, hours reports, subcontractor reports, WIP, etc.
  • Project documentation support – Assist in submittal preparation and assembling project submittals and as-built documentation.
  • Literature and documentation support –maintain and keep organized paper and electronic documents utilized engineering and service/technical staff related to project management.
  • Develop and maintain all office procedures related to project management.

Building Automation Systems Estimator – Chadds Ford, PA

Radius Systems is seeking to hire a motivated BAS Estimator to join our rapidly growing business.

Reporting to the Director of Sales, Marketing and Business Development, this position performs all tasks related to estimating and proposal development for new and existing customer sales for all business lines.

The duties of this position include performing and supporting all estimating functions, managing and supporting all estimating spreadsheets, researching new products specific to projects, or to improve current offerings, communicating with vendors and subcontractors, reading and interpreting project plans and specifications, managing the RFI process during the pre-bid cycle, attending pre-bid meetings and conducting site surveys as well as providing assistance on bid day. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 6 years’ experience in a project management, technician, electrician, BAS estimating or engineering role in Building Automation or a related field. Should have technical proficiency with all hardware and software products utilized for Building Automation Systems projects. Duties include collaborating with sales engineers, project managers and applications engineers.

  • High school diploma plus A.S. in Mechanical, Electrical, Building Automation Technology Engineering or related field; or 4-year apprenticeship program

Radius Systems is a full-service provider of Security Systems, HVAC and Lighting Control Systems, and Indoor Environmental Quality systems and services in the mid-Atlantic region. The project manager will perform project management duties related to the construction of Building Automation Systems (BAS) for the control of HVAC, Security, and Lighting in commercial buildings. We design and build BAS for hospitals, college campuses, manufacturing plants, military sites, data centers, and more. Duties include assisting and learning from Senior Project Managers all aspects of project management – subcontractor procurement/management, resource allocation, scheduling, billing, forecasting, client interface, financial performance, and project closeout.

We are seeking qualified and motivated security installers specializing in Access Control, Video Surveillance, Intercom, and related Security Systems to support our rapid growth in Pennsylvania and Delaware. This includes new construction, retrofits, and system upgrades for commercial and industrial installations.

The duties of the position include installation of wiring, devices, door hardware, and controller enclosures for Security Systems. Candidate must have demonstrated electrical installation knowledge and experience of Security Systems, device hardware installation, and NFPA code requirements. Access Control and VMS systems startup and checkout experience a plus.

Seeking a motivated individual to join our expanding Sales team to support our rapidly growing business. Responsibilities of this position will include:

  • Estimate projects, including material take-offs, subcontractor pricing, all engineering and labor estimates, and work with Sales Engineering Manager to develop pricing.
  • Perform sales functions – develop scope of work and proposals, develop and assemble sales presentation documents, develop sales/marketing materials, arrange client meetings, arrange and perform lunch and learns or other presentations, present proposals.
  • Attend on-site project meetings as required by the GC, CM, Owner and contract holder.

Our service engineers perform a variety of work related to these systems – Customer remote support, technical issue problem solving, and design/programming/graphical interfaces of system additions for our existing building automation clients. Duties will include use of CAD software to develop controls design packages, development of system input/output listings, product selection, sequence of operations, development and troubleshooting of all application programming for each system, and development of user interface.
