Project Manager – DE, PA

Radius Systems is a full-service provider of Security Systems, HVAC and Lighting Control Systems, and Indoor Environmental Quality systems and services in the mid-Atlantic region. The project manager will perform project management duties related to the construction of Building Automation Systems (BAS) for the control of HVAC, Security, and Lighting in commercial buildings. We design and build BAS for hospitals, college campuses, manufacturing plants, military sites, data centers, and more. Duties include assisting and learning from Senior Project Managers all aspects of project management – subcontractor procurement/management, resource allocation, scheduling, billing, forecasting, client interface, financial performance, and project closeout.


BAS Technician – DE, NJ, PA 

Our Technicians are capable of performing all duties associated with installation oversight, checkout, and startup/commissioning of building automation systems. They have demonstrated knowledge and experience in installation, testing, and commissioning of building automation systems, as well as hands-on software/GUI experience, and a strong fundamental knowledge of HVAC. The in-house and on-the-job training they receive provides the foundation for growth within our organization.


Security Installation Technician – Chadds Ford, PA

Radius Systems is a full-service provider of Security Systems and services in the mid-Atlantic region. We are seeking qualified and motivated security installers specializing in Access Control, Video Surveillance, Intercom, and related Security Systems to support our rapid growth in Pennsylvania and Delaware. This includes new construction, retrofits, and system upgrades for commercial and industrial installations.

The duties of the position include installation of wiring, devices, door hardware, and controller enclosures for Security Systems. Candidate must have demonstrated electrical installation knowledge and experience of Security Systems, device hardware installation, and NFPA code requirements. Access Control and VMS systems startup and checkout experience a plus.

Qualifications/Skills:

  • 4 years Electrical Installation experience
  • Minimum 2 years of security installation experience

  • Some post-high school training desired (apprenticeship or other technical
    training)

  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills

Administrator – Chadds Ford, PA

Seeking a motivated individual to join our expanding Administrative team to support our rapidly growing business. Responsibilities of this position will include:

  • Assist with transition projects from sales department to operations, including all job
    initialization functions related to setup in our accounting system, contract processing,
    subcontract processing, bonding, tax exempt certificates, drug testing, new client credit
    checks, etc.
  • Assist with external customer communication to support project manager(s), including
    performance/payment bonds, customer correspondence, billing questions, resolution of
    questions/disputes, safety, billing, A/R, documentation transmittals, RFI’s, warranty letters, lien
    wavers, submittal tracking, etc.
  • Provide support to in management of subcontract activities – assemble subcontracts,
    collect/manage subcontractor certified payroll reports, and monthly billing
  • Aid Service Administrator with incoming and scheduled service calls, including gathering
    information about problem, directing call/person to the appropriate individual, creating work
    orders, scheduling service, tracking work completion, ensuring processing of all paperwork and
    billing, and interface to 3rd party answering service.
  • Support with handling incoming phone communication, including answering/directing calls,
    interface with after-hours call center, etc. On-Call Rotation Schedule

Qualifications/Skills/Requirements:

  • High school diploma, plus post H.S. education/training in office administration and/or accounting
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in an Administrative role
  • Strong working knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point
  • Experience with ERP such as Sage, Quickbooks or equivalent platforms
  • Working knowledge of IT standards – TCP/IP, MS networking, Windows OS
  • Excellent organizational skills with good attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
    to meet deadlines
  • Outstanding customer interface and human relations skills

Radius Systems is a full-service provider of HVAC, Security, and Lighting Control Systems in the mid-Atlantic region. We are seeking an individual for performing part-time material delivery duties.  Responsibilities of this position include assisting with parts receiving, staging/packing material for shipment, loading materials into company vehicle(s), driving company vehicle to/from job sites to deliver parts, tools, and equipment.

Qualifications/Skills:

  • High school diploma
  • Valid/current drivers license and clean driving record for the past 5 years
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in material management/warehousing role
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel
  • Ability to learn quickly and retain information
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Fluent ability to work with laptops, tablets, smartphones
  • Ability to adapt to rapidly changing schedules and priorities and work under pressure
  • Outstanding vendor/employee interface and human relations skills
  • Ability to get along with and work well with people
  • Physical Requirements: Position will require reaching/lifting above shoulders, continuous lifting of 10-35lbs, frequent lifting of 35-50lbs, occasional lifting of 50-100lbs, and repetitive use of feet for operating dollies and hand carts.
