BAS Technician – NJ, PA, DE

Our Technicians are capable of performing all duties associated with installation oversight, checkout, and startup/commissioning of building automation systems. They have demonstrated knowledge and experience in installation, testing, and commissioning of building automation systems, as well as hands-on software/GUI experience, and a strong fundamental knowledge of HVAC. The in-house and on-the-job training they receive provides the foundation for growth within our organization.


 

Estimator

Seeking motivated, goal oriented individuals to join our growing sales team.  Candidate will work hand-in-hand with the sales team to perform all tasks related to estimating and scope development for new and existing customer sales for all business lines.  Estimating tasks include material takeoff, equipment selection, development of cost estimate, development of engineering and field hours, and scope of work.  You will read and interpret project plans and specifications and develop a complete estimate.  You will have responsibility to maintain and update overall estimating costs/factors. This position combines the application of Electrical, Security, Controls/HVAC technical knowledge with the ability to efficiently develop cost estimates.

Qualifications/Skills:

  • A.S. in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Automation System Engineering or Engineering Technology
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Superior attention to detail
  • Excellent multi-tasking skills
  • 2+ years experience in an estimating role in one of the following areas – BAS, Security, Electrical, Mechanical
  • Knowledge within the field of Building Automation, Lighting or Security Systems a plus

Electrician

We are a factory authorized dealer for Automated Logic and seeking qualified and motivated electricians specializing in low-voltage installations, ATC & BAS Controls, Security Systems, and Lighting Control Systems to support our rapid growth in Pennsylvania and Delaware. This includes new construction, retrofits, and system upgrades for commercial and industrial installations.

The duties of the position include installation of wiring, devices, and controllers for Building Automation Systems, along with hardware checkout of those systems. Candidate must have demonstrated electrical installation knowledge and experience, with knowledge of building automation systems testing/startup, and HVAC systems a plus.

Security Sales Engineer

Radius Systems is a full-service provider of Security Systems, HVAC and Lighting Control Systems, and Indoor Environmental Quality systems and services in the mid-Atlantic region. As an authorized dealer for RS2 Technologies, Exacq, GuardRFID, and Certified Integrator for Assa Abloy, we are seeking a qualified and motivated security sales engineer in the Delaware/Southeastern PA area to join our rapidly growing security team.

The duties of this position include all sales functions including, site surveys, writing scope of work and proposals, sales presentation documents, sales/marketing materials, arrangement of client meetings and lunch and learns, and presentation of proposals related to security system sales. Preferred background is an individual who has performed security sales for the past 1-5 years or an individual who has performed engineering design/programming/commissioning in the building security system industry for the past 1-3 years, who would enjoy the challenge of a sales career for a rapidly growing business.

Skills/Education:

  • High school diploma plus B.S. in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Automation Technology Engineering or 10 years field experience installing security systems or as Field Technician
  • Fluent in the use of Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point, CRM software, Acrobat
  • Excellent verbal communication skills and superior phone etiquette
  • Outstanding customer interface and human relations skills
  • Ability to learn quickly and retain information
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Ability to effectively multi-task, and adapt to rapidly changing schedules and priorities and work under pressure
  • Excellent organizational skills with good attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
